Dental Cleaning
 洗牙

Gum disease is typically caused by poor brushing that allows plaque (a sticky film of bacteria) to build up on the teeth and harden. If this plaque is not regularly removed, it can cause infection of the soft tissues that hold your teeth in place and eventually loosen your teeth. Research shows that gum disease also increases the risks of stroke, diabetes, and heart disease. Good brushing and flossing help prevent this but having professionals perform a thorough dental hygiene cleaning twice a year is recommended.

牙周炎治疗

STM involves the removal of bacterial plaque and tartar, which is present both at and below the gum line. If the plaque and tartar are left untreated and progress, they can result in much more serious dental problems such as gum recession, the spread of infection, loose teeth, changes in dental alignment, and even tooth loss. Our Soft Tissue Management treatments typically involve 2-4 dental visits, each often involving a routine cleaning as well as a deep cleaning.

When a tooth is broken down, and beyond repair, it may need to be removed rather than letting the infection spread beyond the tooth, into the jaw bone, and into the rest of your body. A common extraction is wisdom tooth removal. This is a surgical procedure. Most people during their lifetime need one, two, three, or all four wisdom teeth removed either because they have grown in sideways, have decay, or have disease.

 植牙

Nowadays, the technology for dental implants is so advanced that it is the best way to replace a missing tooth. A dental implant post made of biocompatible titanium is fixed onto the jaw bone. Once the bone heals around the dental implant, a crown can be connected, leaving you with a beautiful brand-new tooth. Dental implants have many advantages as they do not rely on other teeth, are fixed to your bone, and cannot decay like regular teeth.

Root Canal Treatment Icon.png
Root Canals
抽牙神经

When a cavity gets too big and deep, it can infect the nerves inside of a tooth. This would cause your tooth to become sensitive to hot and cold and could cause pain while chewing food. In a root canal treatment, the infected nerves and blood vessels are removed from the tooth. The now-empty canal is safely filled and sealed to decrease the risk of another infection. Root canal therapy preserves your tooth rather than losing it through extraction.

Fillings Icon.png

补牙

When plaque around your teeth builds up, it turns regular sugars into acid, which causes tooth decay. This then leads to problems such as holes in the teeth (cavities) and gum disease. Small cavities are much easier to fill than large ones. If left unattended, the holes will get bigger and deeper, eventually exposing the nerves, which require more complicated procedures such as root canals.

IV Sedation Icon.png

If you have dental anxiety or often feel nervous when having a dental procedure completed, we offer IV sedation to help you feel relaxed during your appointment. While the IV Sedation does not put you fully to sleep, it does relax your body and nerves, making you less aware of the dental procedure.

Botox is a safe procedure that is used for the treatment of wrinkles and facial creases. This medical drug blocks signals from the nerves to the muscle, thus preventing them from contracting. This allows your muscles, and therefore wrinkles, to relax and soften to achieve a more youthful look.
