DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY & B.SC
Dr. Linda Xie
We are delighted to introduce you to the incredible Dr. Linda Xie. This remarkable woman received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree when she graduated from the University of Alberta in 1996. Dr. Xie was awarded 25 years of excellence in Dentistry by the Alberta Dental Association and College in 2021.
Dr. Xie’s passion for dentistry started when she was a little girl. She always enjoyed hands-on activities such as crafting, engraving, cooking, and making collages. Linda was immediately attracted to dentistry when she realized it was the perfect combination of science and an artistic vision.
Having grown up in Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Linda Xie is fluent in English, as well as Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. She gained unique experience and training in dental implants and oral surgery in the last decade. She travelled the world to perform dental surgeries under top mentors in dentistry. Dr. Xie is a member of the Toronto Implant Institute, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and The Pankey Institute. Dr. Xie is the founder of the Alberta Implant Study Club. She is passionate about mentoring the younger generations of dentists by sharing her knowledge and experiences in treating challenging cases.
In her spare time, Dr. Xie likes to practice and competes in ballroom dancing, does personal training, and cooks various food for friends and families. She is also very active in volunteering in her church communities.

DENTAL ASSOCIATE
Dr. Neetasha Naphray
Dr. Naphray has obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Toronto in 2019. She performs wide range of general dentistry procedures and enjoys working with patients of all ages. Dr. Naphray is dedicated in providing quality dental care and she strongly believes in educating her patients so that they have a complete understanding of their dental needs and the treatment they receive.
Outside of work, she likes spending time with her family, traveling, exploring new cuisines and listening to music.

ASSISTANT MANAGER
Jack Crosland
Jack has been proudly serving at MirrorDentistry for the past 5 years starting as a treatment coordinator. His strengths lie in dealing with insurance and ensuring patient satisfaction and care, which he is passionate about. Working at MirrorDentistry has been a rewarding journey, and he is committed to contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Fun fact; Jack is trying to learn to speak Chinese and is looking forward to visiting China.

Nitin Joy Kodiyath
NJ has been fascinated with dentistry since high school. After completing Dental Assisting Lev I and Lev II from Thunder Bay, he worked for 2 years before getting the opportunity to work for Dr. Xie.
Dr. Xie encourages him to pursue excellence and expand his boundaries in dentistry.
Other than Dentistry, his passion lies in watching movies and playing table tennis.

Kiana Johnson-Laing
Kiana graduated from NAIT as a Registered Dental Assistant. She now has 3 years of experience working as an RDA.
Kiana was drawn to work in the dental field because she always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child. She also loves seeing people smile and loves to be a part of helping others feel more confident with their smiles.
One of her favourite past times is trying new cooking recipes and cooking for family and friends.
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Mohsen Gholizadeh
Mohsen is a foreign-trained dentist and Registered Dental Assistant Level II with extensive clinical and research experience.
He earned his dental degree in Iran and completed an MSc in Dentistry at the University of Alberta. At Mirror Dentistry, he assists with a wide range of procedures and remains actively involved in dental research and academic presentations.
Mohsen is fluent in English and Persian, with intermediate proficiency in German, and enjoys working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, he enjoys photography, Persian calligraphy, swimming, learning piano, and spending time with his family.
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Paige Fenton
Paige is a graduate from the University of Alberta and a registered dental hygienist with a deep-rooted passion for the dental field. Having been fascinated by dentistry since childhood, she is dedicated to promoting oral hygiene and therapeutic treatment for all individuals.
Paige is committed to positively impacting her patients' oral health and encouraging preventative care. She is enthusiastic about being an integral part of delivering patient-centered care and fostering lasting relationships built on trust and education.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Paige enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Sama Lahoni
Sama is a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist with many years of experience in providing comprehensive dental care and hygiene services.
A graduate from Oxford College of Arts, Business and Technology 2018, she is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and implementing preventive dental care practices.
Throughout her career, Sama has gained extensive experience in [ periodontal therapy, and advanced dental technologies], making her proficient in a wide range of dental hygiene procedures. She is committed to using her expertise to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health by education.
Outside of the dental office, she spend her time with her family, and she enjoys walking with her Rottweiler dog Rocky.

Adele Romanin
Adele is a chairside assistant for MirrorDentistry. She is passionate about healthcare and helping others whether it is in the dental or medical field.
Adele is currently completing her Bachelor of Science Kinesiology Degree at the University of Alberta.
She is also a part of the Global Brigades UAlberta chapter where she volunteers in Central America providing Medical, Dental, and Economic support.
Fun Fact: Adele in currently the Business Brigade Chapter Leader and is going to Belize in May 2025.
CHAIRSIDE ASSISTANT
Aaron Liu
Aaron is an aspiring dentist and is currently in his third year of a Biological Sciences major at the University of Alberta.
He has been working at MirrorDentisty for the last four years aiding in sedation, sterilization, cleaning and chairside assisting. Aaron is ACLS certified and currently is focusing on sedation monitoring.
A fun fact about Aaron is that he has an intense love for reading, having read tens of thousands of novels.

Frank Yang
Born Mississauga Ontario and moved to Edmonton when I was 8. Aspiring to be a dentist, currently just completed my second year of my bachelors of science majoring in biology.
I love hockey and I have been playing hockey since I was 8. I also swam competitively and currently volunteer as a swim coach for Old Scona high school.

Svitlana Solonenko
Svitlana was born in Nikolaev, Ukraine where she received an education in the management of foreign economic activity. Later she decided to change her profession and become a dental assistant. Canada became her new home and refuge from the war in Ukraine. She's grateful to fate for the chance to improve her skills with professionals at MirrorDentistry and go to work with pleasure.
Svitlana speaks 4 different languages Ukrainian, Russian, English and Polish.

Latoya is a recent graduate of MacEwan University’s Office Assistant program and a proud new resident of Alberta, having recently moved from British Columbia. With a strong background in customer service and a passion for creating positive patient experiences, she brings a friendly and welcoming presence to the front desk. Latoya is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city, trying new coffee spots, and spending time with family and friends.

A Little Bit Of Our History
Our dental clinic was founded in 2004 by Dr. Linda Xie and her mother, Lucy Tse (谢露西). At the time, the dental clinic was named “Callingwood Dental Health Center,” as our office is nicely nestled in the Callingwood neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta.
With the dream of becoming a one-stop shop for all dental needs, Dr. Xie decided to expand and rename the clinic “MirrorDentistry” in 2017. During this time, Dr. Xie travelled the world to learn advanced oral surgery in periodontics and implant dentistry under the care of renowned dental surgeons such as Dr. Hilt Tatum, Dr. Istvan Urban, Dr. Homlay Wang, Dr. Natalie Wong, and Dr. William Leang. With these valuable experiences and enhanced skills, Dr. Linda Xie is now happy to be back in Edmonton and providing dental care to her patients.
MirrorDentistry not only provides general preventive care but now also provides services in fillings, extractions, implants, oral surgeries, root canals, and crowns.
